Automatic Transfer Panel or simply ATP is an essential item for your generator set to work automatically, acting in the selection of energy sources between the power distribution company and the genset, thus ensuring an uninterrupted power service.

Usually there are two contactors in the ATPs, one from the power network and the other from the generator set. These components can be replaced by transfer switches or motorized circuit breakers.

The automatic transfer occurs when the ACSU (Alternating Current Supervision Unit) detects power failure, activating the genset and transferring the project loads to it. For this process to occur, it is necessary for the ACSU to have its automatic mode active. If it is in manual mode, the transfer will be inhibited.
