Vaccines for COVID-19 require continuous refrigeration to maintain their effectiveness. In general, immunobiologicals require temperatures between 2° and 8°C.

If there is a lack of energy and medicines are kept at room temperature, vaccines can lose their immunization capacity after a short period of time. In order to guarantee their efficiency and promote the well-being of the local community, GERAFORTE joined the movement UNITED BY THE VACCINE, created by the WOMEN OF BRAZIL GROUP.

We Donated a coplete generator set of 12.5 kVA to the city of Jequitaí - MG - Brazil! The machine was housed in the Jequitaí Mixed Health Unit, where immunobiologicals are stored.

The generator acts as an energy backup, ensuring the ideal temperature of the medicines in case there are peaks or shortages in the local electrical network.

The machine was received at an event promoted by the city hall in conjunction with CEMIG. The meeting took place at the union of rural producers in the city, where there were lectures on safety and energy saving.

GERAFORTE is pleased to contribute to social well-being. From good deeds it is possible to obtain unexpected, positive results and even save lives.
